Most of the agricultural lands in our country have a limestone structure. For this reason, the amount of pH is very high. Although there is iron in limy soils, plants can not make use of it as it exists in a form that can not be taken by the plants (in the form of Iron Hydroxide). Iron chlorosis is seen in the plants because of deficiency of iron, despite the fact that there is iron in the soil at the rate of 5-10 %. Iron (II) wich carries out its physiological function in the body of the plant. Most of the iron (III) that is present in the soil.
Iron chlorosis is seen as growing yellow stains between the veins in young leaves. Chlorosis at a serious level makes the vein yellow as well. It is similar to the deficiency of magnesium. deficiency of magnesium is seen in older leaves. As for the deficiency of iron, it is seen in the sucker of the young leafs. In fruit trees, iron chlorosis is seen on some branches. Some other branches may not have it.
Generally iron chlorosis can be prevented by applying Fe EDTA, Fe EDDHA from leaf or soil. Iron sulphate is widely used as it is relatively cheaper. This application may not be effective in soil originated problems. It was found that when Fe Humat which has been developed by our firm in recent years is applied through soil, it keeps its effect for a long time. It is produced by using fully natural leonardite.

BENEFITS OF DELTA HUMUFER FOR PLANT AND SOIL

  • It makes the receipt of iron (whose intake is possible for the plants) easier due to the high level pH of the limy soil. Iron is in the form of Iron Humat which is a form that can be received easily. It helps the plant to develop by means of the roots.
     
  • It makes other nutritive substances existing in the soil received by the plant in a sufficient amount .
     
  • It overcomes the poisoning caused by the excessive amount of nutritive substances such as salt of the soil or bor.
     
  • It provides better yield, by changing the chemical and physical features of the soil.
     
  • Its presence is permanent and does not get washed off from the soil due to the fact that its solubility is low.
     
  • It makes the plant root grow fast and the product become early harvested.
